You can only go back so far before there is absolutely nothing.

The thought can literally make your brain hurt, if pondered upon for too long. It remains however an unfathomable fact and one that cannot be denied by anyone.

We are impossible.

A mind endowed by whatever means, with even a modicum of intelligence and enquiry, has to place something into this nothingness, it just has to !

What each mind places into this nothingness is our Faith.

It cannot be anything more than faith, because it is incomprehensible to every human mind. There is no possibility of obtaining proof whilst alive and no possibility of obtaining evidence.

It cannot be anything less than faith, for it requires great faith to believe in whatever it is that you place there.

We cannot see it. We cannot go back in time and investigate it. We cannot even adequately perceive it. Therefore it has to be something that we believe rather than know or can prove or can evidence.

That is called Faith.

I place God in there.

Everyone has to have an intelligent creating entity of some description in there, or you just haven’t thought things through properly.

There comes a point as you go back through time, be that a few thousand years or millions, even billions of years, that you get to that unassailable wall of thought. An unassailable wall that anyone who thinks about the subject has to reach.

There have been many who, stood in front of that wall, have written on it what they thought was on the other side. As we now stand before it, having all the “benefit” and “usefulness” of what people have previously written upon that wall, what are we to write upon it?

There is such a wall. That too is fact. And there are only two statements written over and over upon it.

These two statements from which to choose are…

“In the beginning God created the Heavens and the earth” Genesis 1:1 OR “From nothing came everything”. Science 101. That choice is a fact.

But the fact remains that this imaginary wall exists, an oxymoron in itself.

You have to put something on the other side of that wall. What will you put? I put God and suggest that anything else is just impossible.

It does not matter if you then ask “Well where did God come from?” because you will still come to a point before God that contained NOTHING.

Similarly, if you offered a theory of infinite multiple and present universes or even infinite previous universes, you will STILL come to a point before which, there was absolutely nothing.

It is not dark or light. It is nothing. It is not space or contained within anything. It is nothing. NOTHING. NOTHING. NOTHING.

AT ALL !!!

Therefore we are impossible.

The God I believe in is as eternal as the nothingness that an atheist has to believe in.

To believe from our own scientific evidence that nothing can create anything would be to go against basic common sense, let alone the foundational laws of physics.

Thus, I place God there and think that observable and knowable science does too.

We are impossible. Everything is impossible. Therefore the fact anything exists, proves the existence of a Creator.

As God told us in Psalm 14:1 and again in Ps 53:1

“A fool hath said in his heart, “There is no God.””
